Yanni Hufnagel comes from New York where he took his high school studies. He became a great lover of basketball and joined the school team which gave him a foundation for what he has become today. His love and passion for the game saw him become a commentator on a local channel in the early days. After completing his high school, he was enrolled at the Pennsylvania State University where he also joined the school team. He lasted only one year at the University and transferred to Cornel University. He has been an assistant coach for various teams for many years. All the teams he has served have recorded unmatched positive report. He is currently an assistant coach for the Nevada University men’s basketball team. Yanni Hufnagel began his coaching career in the month of June back in 2009 at Harvard where he served as the assistant coach for the Crimson men’s basketball team. His recruiting unmatched skills earned him so much credit. This made him the most famous assistant coach that won him more seasons in 2012 and 2013.
From May 2013 to the year 2014, Yanni Hufnagel advanced his career by serving under coaches Kevin Stallings of the Vanderbilt team and Cuonzo Martin of the University of California Golden team. This acted as a significant boost to his career. Although his career didn’t have a parallel competition, he faced a major blow in the year 2016. This saw Yanni Hufnagel face charges after a lady filed sexual harassment complaints against him. Although he denied the charges, this led to him resigning from the position in the month of April 2016.Despite the great name he had built earlier on, the alleged charges spoilt his reputation considerably. In his early 30’s, Yanni Hufnagel is currently serving as an assistant coach for the Nevada University basketball team. This came as a result of his evidence that he tabled against the sexual harassment charges. The evidence played a significant role in vindicating him and winning back his valor for the love of basketball.
